Plotted generative artworks

These artworks were created as part of the Interfaces project (interfaces.7pc.de), where dance and generative art come together. Choreographers composed various short dance routines, which were performed by talented dancers and recorded on video. Using AI technology, we extracted motion data from these performances.

This motion data served as the foundation for generating these unique artworks. The algorithm employed in this process relies on calculating line intersections. The final designs were exported as SVG files and meticulously plotted on A1-sized paper through a three-pass method. I applied three different line widths and two distinct colors to achieve these captivating compositions.
